Why We Chose Giving Over Gifts
Client appreciation is part of our DNA. This year we want that appreciation to ripple farther. Food banks stretch every dollar through bulk purchasing and partnerships; therefore, your support can feed more families when demand is highest. It also reflects how we run our business. Why Pleasant Hill UMC Food Bank
We chose a local pantry that serves families right here. This program provides ongoing, relationship-based support. It meets immediate needs while connecting people to resources that stabilize the week ahead. In short, it is simple, local, and effective.
What Our Donation Supports
Funds will go where they are needed most. Pantry staples, fresh items via partner networks, and supplies that make distribution possible. Moreover, our goal is to strengthen consistent, reliable access to food throughout the holiday period when many households feel extra pressure.
How You Can Help Today
You can make an impact in three quick ways.
- Give directly. Use your preferred amount and, if needed, designate “Food Bank.”
- Donate items. High-need staples include canned proteins, peanut butter, dry pasta, rice, beans, shelf-stable milk, and baby supplies. Also, check freshness dates.
- Volunteer or match. Short shifts matter. Additionally, ask your employer about matching gifts to double the impact.
